In 2007, I coauthored a book for parents and professionals with tips for the successful launching of adolescents and young adults. This information is based on years of workshops offered to parents and professionals at colleges and universities on the developmental tasks adolescents need to accomplish in order to mature into healthy, independent young adults. The book includes important information about how the teenage brain really works, the researched effects of technology on our young, and the message that failure is not a four letter word.
